DC Teeth Whitening or Brightening

DC Tooth whitening is extremely popular. If you want to whiten your teeth, schedule a consultation with our Bleaching Consultant in Washington DC. After she examines your mouth, she may recommend zoom tooth whitening! II In-Office Whitening System. In a single one-hour visit, she applies Zoom!T Whitening Gel, composed of a pH balanced hydrogen peroxide, to your teeth. Then, she'll use a low-heat Zoom!T light to activate the gel so it will to penetrate the enamel and dentin in your teeth to remove deep stains and discoloration.

If you don't want to wait in our office here in Washington DC, our consultant may recommend our at-home bleaching trays. These clear trays are customized to your mouth and you can wear them to whiten and brighten your teeth at your convenience.

All materials used are approved by the FDA. Teeth whitening uses gel that removes the stain from teeth because they are porous.

EmbassyRowDental uses ZOOM2 as seen on ABC's EXTREME MAKEOVER

Zoom2 is an in office whitening system that is safe and effective and fast.

You can see it on TV, now you can click on www.zoomnow.com to see more information on the process.

Tooth whitening is a bleaching process that lightens the discoloration on enamel and dentin. With Zoom2 a whitening gel is placed in a thin bleaching tray that fits over your teeth. As the active ingredient, carbamide peroxide, is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin and bleaches the colored substances. Structure of the tooth is not changed.

Discoloration is caused by aging, consumption of staining substances such as coffee, tea, tobacco, red wines, trauma, nerve degeneration, and old restorations.
